Amscan UK return to Spring fair to share their sustainable Journey

Between Sunday 5th February to Wednesday 8th February, we could be found on our exciting new stand at Spring fair. This year we took a different approach to our usual party focused display and were instead ready to talk all things sustainability.

It was great engaging with people across all levels, with different manufacturers coming together across the industry to really inform customers on the next steps we need to take collectively to ensure we’re leading this development for a sustainable future.

More and more, cross-sector sustainability is becoming a collective. Central to Spring Fair’s emphasis on sustainability this year was its Power of One campaign and partnership with Products of Change to provide an educational aspect to the show and provide that introduction to the topic for companies looking into taking their first steps on the journey of sustainable development.

We made sure our stand was designed in a way that helped tell the story of our sustainable journey so far, with our show stopping sustainable tree highlighting our key steps, and our interactive screen, which we offset the carbon emissions for through solar aid, showing the user our sustainable accreditations across all our categories. We even made sure to use furniture and displays from the showroom or rent to avoid buying new, and in cases where new was the only way we have started making plans for where we can re-use.

We are excited to continue implementing our changes across all sectors of Amscan, from party to dress up, and will continue to develop more sustainable solutions to help improve the impact our industry has.
